KUALA KANGSAR: PLUS Expressways Bhd is going green.
Its director Noorizah Abd Hamid said after the launch of the upgraded Sungai Perak R&R area by Deputy Works Minister Datuk Yong Khoon Seng yesterday, the highway concessionaire would be adopting environmental-friendly practices at its 24 rest and recreation (R&R) areas and 43 lay-bys throughout the country.
Themed “The Green Trail”, the R&R areas on the south-bound lane of the expressway was the first in the country to adopt a green approach.
