In less than 5 months, world leaders will meet in Copenhagen to decide on a climate treaty that could determine our planet's future. As young people who's future is on the line what are we going to do while this deadline approaches? Around the world, young people have united, stood up and voiced out to press the public and their leaders that they want strong and bold climate action. Some are fasting, some are lobbying, some are educating. Whatever their strategy their acting and organizing for a safer, better future. What inspiration can we here in Malaysia take from these international youth climate movements? More importantly what can we learn and how could we build something similar?
In this concluding session, we will take inspiration from these amazing young people and brainstorm what is possible for a youth climate change movement in Malaysia. We sincerely hope that you come and share your passion, energy and ideas for our collective future.
